Meeting Jacq Woo

Was at the College of Alice and Peter Tan to meet a young lady, Ms Jacqueline Woo. I have had email exchange with her but this is our first time meeting. Jacqueline was diagnosed with General Dystonia when she was 4 years old. She was an alumnus of MGS, ACJC and CAPT. Last year she graduated from NUS. Jacq was a history major and loves writing. It is my honour and privilege to meet this spunky young lady. She is a cheerful girl, has a lovely disposition, a personality that is filled with grit and drive. Dystonia is a movement disorder in which a person's muscles contract uncontrollably. The contraction causes the affected body part to twist involuntarily, resulting in repetitive movements or abnormal postures. Dystonia can affect one muscle, a muscle group, or the entire body. There is no cure for Dystonia and I think she is the only one in Singapore with the condition. Marking our first meeting today with this post.
