I am so blessed to be included in this project. The good surgeon not only good with his hands, he is also a very talented wordsmith. This compilation of poems were written at various times in the past few years, expressions of emotions, words that sprang from the inner most of loss for his 2 children and some were written for his patients. Each poem was crafted with depth and intensity, an honest and earnest baring of soul to an Almighty God. Raw and heartfelt, too good not to share them, hence the idea for this book.

I met Kok Yang about a year ago. Over crab beehoon, the idea of a book was mooted and ta da … one year later, “With Hope as my Centre” happened!!!
