Truth be told, I find myself unduly worrying about things these days.
It is not easy to paint full time. Unless you are a known artist, jobs are hard to come by. It is a pretty tough world out there.
I went into Retail because it gives me some form of financial stability. No matter how, there will be always be “something” each month. COVID came and the retail biz came to an abrupt halt. It will be zero for quite a while.
I began 2020 with 3 painting jobs. How did I get the
9 April 2020. Today, I received the email confirmation from my newest corporate client. In this period of lull and gloom, this commission order came, like a precious drop from heaven. 😱 Truly, I know I have been much blessed. Thanking God Almighty for His Favour. I am absolutely delighted!!! Share my joy, dear friends, share my joy. YAY !!! 💪🏻🙏🏻
I have always worked from home. WFH... not something I need to get used to. While the retail side of the biz PAUSED temporarily, I now channel my energy to the core of my work, painting. There are so many ideas swimming in my head, this is indeed a good time to put some of them onto canvas. 🤣
