2022 is my year, the year of the roaring tiger! Sixty is 60. In numerals or alphabet, in any language… 60 is 60. Let camera filters kid you not, no way we can turn back the clock. Seriously, no matter how young we look, our bodies cannot defy gravity, the parts have deteriorated with age. It takes a lot longer to bounce back when we fall sick, we experienced some lapses in our memory and like it or not, we aren’t as sharp as before. No escaping, we just need to embrace our
12.12 is a day of frenzy buying … consumerism at its peak before Christmas. Over here at our end, we got busy too … 2 paintings SOLD!!! The proceeds of both artworks will go to NHCS’s fundraiser. The kindness and generosity of our donors speak volumes of their hearts to help the homeless, displaced and those from dysfunctional families. I cannot tell you how touched my husband and I are by the gestures. Thank you dear friends for your partnership. We have been blessed so much
End of the year always sets me in a reflective mood. As I look back over the past 6 years, I marvel at the opportunities tt were given to me. Yesterday’s unveiling at HCA HQ marked the installation of my 5th display of works in institutions and companies. A 6th is in the pipeline, at the ACJC Heritage Museum, after renovation is completed. BIG DEAL to me to showcase my works so visibly and in places of such high repute. I am honoured and humbled. I thank God Almighty, my frie
Was on a staycation at Fullerton Bay. Together w my friends, we went to Fullerton yesterday evening for dinner. Of cos, I popped by The Fullerton Shop to say HI and to have a look. I was so very pleased with this new display. Incidentally, I began my retail journey with TFS. It was my FIRST retail point. #TGBAG
I thought I will wrap up all activities for my work after the Afghan Fundraiser. Well, it appears to be not so. I guess the year is not over for me yet, I have to work some more.
About a month ago, the husband asked me if I could help. He told me that it is for the homeless and displaced in Singapore. I was like " Huh? There are HOMELESS people here??? WHO are they?? " I was then told that most of them are people who have been incarcerated or have been kicked out of the hom
And though I have not stepped one foot out of the country, my products have done so … for me! This year, I have been blessed with items going to China, France, UK and today, this lot was ordered and is going to USA! Thank you dear friends for “bringing” me along when travelling . Appreciate so much ! #TGBAG
Just confirmed what is likely my last commission for the year 2021. How one thing leads to another is simply AMAZING. Truly, nothing happens by co-incidence. To God Be ALL Glory. I will start work next week. Been quite a year, I am grateful for the jobs. Thank you so much for the opportunity.
The “Home>>Afghan” Fundraiser has been moved to Nov 27. What weighs heavy in my heart is the plight of the women and children there and what I can do to help? Putting up paintings to raise funds is the easiest part, the hardest is getting people to buy. I set a minimum bid price when I do auctions and I am so totally over the moon to inform that as of this morning, all 3 pieces of my work for this Fundraiser have received their first bid. If you feel led and are interested to

This is my #152 painting.
Upcast means cast upwards. It is also opposite of downcast. Upcast can also mean looking up as in “upcast eyes”.
This painting will serve as a reminder for me to look up.
Not availing it for sale because …
1. This is an old canvas. As old as 2016.
2. I painted over a half completed painting. Somehow, I never completed the artwork. Had some pockets of time these couple of days, so I decided I should procrastinate no longer, I finished it.
